There is no doubt that the early rhododendron bloom is one of the must-see shows of spring in the mountains.
It is during this time of the year that Rhododendron kotschyi, the evergreen shrub, bursts into bloom in the Carpathians.
Last weekend we also chased its bloom in Valea Radului, on the northern slopes of Fagaras mountains. Smiling from iside out, nature put on dispaly stunning views.
